VENDOR PROOF OF LIABILITY INSURANCE
Most venues now require each vendor that sets up anything during the wedding or reception to have liability insurance. This is so that if someone gets injured as a result of that vendor's actions, or lack of action, if a civil suit is filed for damages, the venue is protected. The insurance requirement protects the bride and groom from liability so even if not required by the venue, the bride and groom may want to require this insurance! Proof of this insurance is called a "Certificate of Insurance" or COI.
